*** RAINBOW NEEDS THE HELP OF A NEW HOPE PARTNER TO PULL HER TO SAFETY TONIGHT *** A volunteer writes: Yes, there is a pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow, and thats where Rainbows new home is. A home in which she will come out of her shell, know that she is loved and cherished and will be able to curl up next to her person for the rest of her life. Rainbow joined us as a stray and is timid about meeting new people right now. We spent a lot of time together, and each time we did she opened herself up more. She enjoys treats and takes them gently, eventually allowed me to put a bandanna on her, and let me pet her. Shes wary and its understandable....her eyes are soft and confused, and the question in them is clear....will you love me, am I safe with you? She eventually put her head in my lap for some petting, and softly wagged her tail. When other dogs approached our pen she greeted them gently with a little wave of her tail. Shes a beauty, and I know that when she gets more comfortable, and gives us a smile and her eyes light up with love she will be a knockout! We dont know what the early chapters of her life have been, but we can write the final chapter of her story which will end with And she lived happily ever after. Open your heart to our shy little girl and be rewarded with a gentle wag of her tail, and eventually a big smile. Shes waiting for her final chapter to begin.
