REMAIN CALM! No alarm sounding here yet, just an FYI. Im supposed to be on vacation from the station but I will continue to post weather updates when there is anything other than clear skies. 3 images will be attached. You see, after October 15th, the storms that develop rarely make it any where near us. However, there is a storm brewing down south and if the weather wasnt so crazy this year, Id ignore this one being that it is so late in season. That would irresponsible of me. So lets have a look. The National Hurricane Center is paying attention to a system that they say will fo sho become at least a Tropical Depression or much much stronger within the next 48 hours. The computer models partly agree to its initial path as it moves slowly west-northwestward. As of now ... Mazatlan looks like it could be this systems target by watching the forecast for surface pressure. What will really happen with this system is anybodys guess. Heck, the weatherman says 100% chance of rain and we get clear skies sometimes =D But lets pay attention to this one just to be safe. Its never hurt anyone to have extra water, canned goods like tuna and chicken, extra rice and beans that could be cooked on a BBQ if necessary ... and if stored right lasts forever and a day.
