RHEMA FOR TODAY Psa.1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. To be blessed is to be Divinely favored and empowered for Success in life. It is a spiritual force that one carries that opens doors and knocks out spiritual barriers/limitations. 1. To secure and retain divine blessings, you must separate yourself from the ungodly way of life. It is an error to think that the Godly and the Ungodly ways lead to the same destination. As you go about your business today, think and act Godly; it is the discipline of the blessed. 2. The only way to live Godly is to delight in God’s Word. David was delighted in God’s Law (His Instructions). This is different from a delight in His Promises; even sinners are interested in God’s Promises. Every Promise carries a condition which most times demands obedience. It takes the Godly to delight in God’s instructions; these molds their character and set them up for Divine Favor. Do you want to see the evidence of God’s blessing in your life? Pray for grace to live godly and to have the courage to say no to ungodliness. Read Prov. 1:10.
