RICK PERRY is the most experienced Governor/Leader in AMERICA. In addition, and in contrast to ALL of his potential Presidential opponents, he is the ONLY man with a MILITARY background. I love how he spent more time talking about foreign policy than anyone else. Most of his opponents are giving SPEECHES trying to prove that they will be good Governors of our nation...after some hands on experience. If you look only at foreign policy experience, you might choose Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), but also a candidate like Texas Gov. Rick Perry, the sole potential candidate so far with military experience and someone who is clearly up on the issues. (He devoted more of his speech in Iowa to foreign policy than any other candidate). In governance and presidential campaign practice, however, Rubio ranks low while Perry and Mike Huckabee, both former presidential candidates, would win out. Experience in the presidential context, however, means something more than checking the box on these aspects of experience.
