RIP Mr Cash I still remember hearing when June Carter died and thinking to myself Johnny Cash doesnt have more than 6 months to live now with out her. Sadly I was right but at least they are together again. Either way love his stuff since i was a wee nipper, I can blame my most excellent Father and my bro Ian Crangle (also excellent but get 100% blame for CCR and Dead Kennedys). People know me and I prefer to use facebook for pics of raptors riding sharks with RPGs or to glorify Battletech in all its form however I thought i would be sensible for a change (Shock HORROR!!!!) and take a leaf from Saul Wright and type a bit up. LIke us all, Johnny Cash was far from perfect and I think in his life a lot of plp can see where he went wrong and relate to it, I know I can and as a result I am not ashamed to say drawn a little strength from him. I had to go to see his film by myself as I wanted to be selfish and enjoy it. The opening had me enthralled and I left that cinema with a smile and a mountain of respect that would dwarf some of the footballers egos these days :) Gonna leave you with a great tribute from (yes wait for it) a great band.
