RSPFF ANNOUNCES THE “PLAY ON!” SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Randy Snow = FUN. Randy Snow = VIBRANT. Randy Snow loved to PLAY. On November 19, 2013, it is with great delight we continue Randy’s infinite love of life, sport, and thrill of achievement by providing athletes with the opportunity to “Play On!” Play On!, the signature program of the Randy Snow Push Forward Foundation, sponsors training camps and clinics for athletes with physical disabilities. The Randy Snow Push Forward Foundation (RSPFF) was established in 2011 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the living legacy of the late Randy Snow. Randy passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2009 in El Salvador after conducting a wheelchair tennis camp for the International Tennis Federation (ITF). The Play On! scholarship program is available to sponsor sports’ camps and clinics that support RSPFF’s mission which is “To provide people with physical disabilities equal opportunity to achieve their athletic and academic lifetime goals through sports.” Coaches and program leaders who are affiliated with sports and/or recreation agencies, veterans’ organizations, and adapted sports programs are eligible to apply for Play On! scholarships in support of athletes. Initial scholarships are limited to wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basketball training camps and clinics. Play On! will sponsor up to $350 per athlete OR a total of $1,750 per group. RSPFF will begin accepting applications for Play On! scholarships in January, 2014.
