Rachael still has some fluid on her brain, but Hopefully that will be absorbed. I am still concerned about that, because she shouldnt have ANY extra fluid on her brain. The good news is that the area of the brain they did surgery on has shrunk up a little more and that is good. (it isnt hanging down in her spine area as much) Hannas surgery was so much more textbook than Rachaels has been. Hannas Chiari shrank quickly after surgery, she had no fluid on her brain at all and her symptoms have almost vanished except for an occasional headache now and then. So that is what I expected with Rachael. Rachael only had headaches for a symptom prior to surgery and now she is experiencing more issues with her feet and pain in her head that she didnt have before surgery. I guess every kid is different....But I am still a mama bear and I still worry. Keep the prayers coming, specifically that the water will re-absorb or flow better so there is no extra on her brain.
