RainRain is getting better each day. = ) Today she can walk out from her compound, to do her business few times. And I heard she barked at passerby with her unique voice. Of course, she demanded new type of food these few days. We have to hide the meds into boiled sausage. With her low blood sugar level, meaning the insulin level is high, and it indicated her pancreatic cancer is back. Out of 3 options, surgery, chemo and oral steroid meds to boost up the blood sugar level against the insulin level, I chose the last method. With her age, her health condition, surgery is not an option. Chemo, is no doubt can control the spread of the cancer, but knowing RainRain for years, I know she will not do well with the chemo side effect. That left me with the last option, steroid. Steroid will not control the spread of cancer and will not prolong her life span, but only to balance her blood sugar level to fight against the increase of insulin. I dont ask for more, I dont ask for miracle. RainRain is leaving me, thats a fact. I am not trying to prolong her suffer, I just wish she can live her life to the fullest for this limited period of times. She got 2 seizures on Apr 15, I thought I will lost her, but she bounced back and fight. It makes me feel ashamed, looking into her eyes, she is telling me, Ma, when I am NOT giving up, you shouldnt too. Yeah, RainRain, until the day you give up, I will fight together with you. Till death do us part. I love you, from here to the moon, and back, and forth, and back, and forth .....
