Ramzi Aburedwan is a Palestinian artist born in Bethlehem in 1979. He grew up in the Al’ Amari refugee camp in Ramallah, where his family was forced to relocate in 1948. Violence and the occupation greatly marked his childhood and his adolescence. At sixteen, he was lucky to participate in a music workshop, an experience that changed his life. In paying it forward, Ramzi created the Al Kamandjâti Association in 2005. Al Kamandjâtis mission is to bring music education to Palestinian children.
