Read Ezekiel 34… then take a gander at this: And if you think this doesn’t apply to you, well… Oh Lord, forgive your shepherds on this day, for we have forgotten who the shepherd’s shepherd is, the true Master, the owner of the sheep, the one who truly holds the staff. We have forgotten what pastures to lead them to: We have forgotten the older tried and true trails and led them into the wilderness… Forgive us Father for putting your Son on a treadmill – we lead and go nowhere – teach but learn nothing… We kneel in our minds, believing this is enough to please you… Forgive your servants as we have forgotten that we too are sheep, pushing, pulling, and shoving: Looking for a better position, a higher piece of ground to look down upon others… HUMBLE US OH LORD!!!! For we have created our own pastures for the sheep to feed, fortified with fertilizer to make the grass sweeter, the water flavored, but we haven’t had salt for years… Re-instill the fear that brought us unto you and put it deep into our hearts Oh God. Bring us home into the pen, surrounded by the fence of your Glory, surrounded by your Grace and Mercies… Lead us OUT of temptation and tear down the temples we have built for ourselves. Let us deny our own ministries and return to your Glory! For you have sent a comforter among us, but we still deny Him entry, you have shown us the path but we still build our own roads… You have given us Grace for so long we take it for granted. We lead the sheep to the fleecing tent: Without first feeding them, without first letting their coats grow full. SO SAYS THE LORD YOUR GOD!!! “Soon there will be many cut off: Soon you will hide from my face. Soon my chosen will be fed by Me alone… The sword cuts at the knees and the hammer breaks the hands. When you open My Word, you will tremble and cry into an open sky. Many will hear but who will listen? There will be too much praise in the air to hear your cry, the cry of the broken: You who rejected MY NAME!!! I WILL GIVE THEM A NAME YOU WILL NOT KNOW!!! I WILL GIVE THEM MY NAME THAT YOU WILL NEVER HEAR!! This word heard and written… TAKE HEED SHEPHERDS, THE TIME HAS COME FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE… Fear the name of the Lord… In the Name of Jesus, Amen!!!
