Read First before watching the video! For all the ones I love, they all know that my Partner of 26 years has been dealing and suffering with Parkinsons Disease which is a Neurological Disorder and is very similar to ALS! The differences is that Parkinsons is not fatal like ALS (Lou Gehrigs), which patients twitch, muscles atrophy and waste away very quickly. The disease does NOT affect senses or cognitive functions, but typically become completely paralyzed and lose the ability to breathe in three to five years. They are nowhere near a cure for ALS. My goal from the last 7 years is to help find a Cure for Parkinsons Disease and ALS! Im so happy to see how much attention and money has been raised for Lou Gehrigs Disease! This Bucket Challenge is a positive thing to help bring awareness to such an insidious disease.
