Reading about Alexander The Great on this lovely rainy evening... And Ive come to the conclusion that technology has trapped us. Though we feel we have greater freedoms because of technology, I believe its quite the opposite. We have no secrecy, corporations rule everything, our travel is monitored, our very lives are registered, we have to pay to live or we go to jail....we can no longer conquer lands and off with the bad guys without someone knocking on your door and using a technological shit storm against you. Forget about conquering lands, hell we cant even run a yellow light without getting a ticket in the mail. Our way of life has paved the way for only those in power to remain in power. Its hard times for heroes to be anything but internet warriors, good authors, and messengers.
