Reading this article reminded me of the 1993 bombings in Bombay and the subsequent riots. I remember evacuating school, the whispered news about killings and sometimes saw faraway fires from our terrace. It was so scary and confusing, but nothing compared to what the children in Gaza are experiencing. Every article and news report is distressing but nothing like the ones about the deaths of children.
