**Recommended Read** Aspergers Syndrome and Anxiety by Alis Rowe (now also available in paperback as well as e-format) Customer Review: Alis Rowes latest book is hugely useful to anyone on the Autistic Spectrum who suffers from Anxiety. Through a series of short narratives, diagrams and graphs she explains why certain things make people with A.S anxious. The book is beautifully presented and very clear and easy to read. I particularly enjoyed how she highlighted anxiety on the spectrum is NOT the same as N.T anxiety. It is easy for an NT to assume when we say we are anxious how this feels, Alis points out the crucial differences and how it is not simply being a bit shy. A very useful guide to make an NT understand just how it feels when we say something makes us anxious and just how crippling it can be. It is equally useful with the hints and tips for coping with Anxiety as an A.S Sufferer. Alis reminds us it is ok to say NO to things we do not want to do. Miss Rowe is a voice of the voiceless, she puts into words (and pictures) what so many of us are trying to say, but simply cant do it.
