Reflection from a man on a chilly October day. I find myself - TopicsExpress

Reflection from a man on a chilly October day. I find myself looking down the barrels of a long but productive week. Many things requiring my attention and people who want to be around me for my great talents (laughs inside). All joking aside it is good for a person of God to have many supporters of the faith and friends to enjoy the goodness of the living God. Walking down the road that we do of life, any road could end in endless possibilities, but with God and loving people, the road is an endless map of good tidings. Although situations may arise that attempt to get our eyes off the important things in life, we need to remain focused, focused on the call. It is a call that is above ourselves and is not defined by any political group or human ideology, but it is set in motion and fueled by the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith, who has the best in store for us regardless of how we see the circumstances we find ourselves in. Now by understanding the nature of God and the way that he has chosen to deal with this fallen world, we can ascertain that he has nothing but true unconditional, eternally dispensed love for the masses. This mercy flows from a throne room of endless possibilities governed by the great I am. Walking in the coolness of the day I find exhilarating the wind going into my lungs and the breath of God which keeps me alive. It is this breath that so many are gasping to find and have no idea how to get. It is this truth that propels the Christian to move closer to God and closer to their fellowman at the same time. Our lives are filled with rough situations, bad decisions, and unforeseen consequences but God is in the moment and was there already before we even entered the stage. Friend don’t think that God was not there in the most heinous of moments, he was there and is there for your strength, he will never give you more than you can handle on this walk with him. Our biggest problem is to understand that we are on the journey of life with him and we can speak for him in those moments of triviality. Just remain in the presence of the Holy Spirit and no matter what wilderness he leads you to, know that his desire is for you to come out of it in the power of the Holy Spirit, not in the presence of Him. This is the life of Christ and the beginning of the miraculous. God bless you my friends, as I go take that walk on this brisk and chilly October day.
