Remember this is especially the time of year that is a challenge for most veterans and their families. I received a message from an Air Force veteran whose wife is at the Kentucky National Veterans Cemetery in Radcliffe, KY asking when and if I am in that area if I could not go by and say hello to his wife. What do you say to someone who has been married for fifty years to the same person? . She passed two years ago. From Thanksgiving to New Years is tough to handle. So I was in the neighborhood, located and placed a small gift bag for Mrs. said a prayer and off we went to visit some other veterans. Bless my Sister of Golds heart when I called in a panic because, of course, I got my dates mixed up thinking today was Wreaths Across America. No wreaths were anywhere. I thought the place got robbed. I told her thank goodness I did not call 911! was working myself up to a tizzy when she told me that isnt until December 13th. Thank goodness my head is attached. Who knows where that may ended up at. Been a great day! You all take care! Putting my feet up, relaxing and thankful for such blessings received today! Stay safe out there! Rangers, and all who are not home but have taken the oath to uphold the US Constitution...Lord, today I know I have been surrounded by Angels, not only Airborne Rangers In The Sky, but Angels who walk among us. Thank you Lord, my heart is overflowing with amazement of how you have placed so many into my life. I kneel before you asking that you place a veil of protection around those who may need additional protection from the darkness. Lord, breathe life into the souls of those who are carrying demons of their own. Allow them to exhale the seeds of darkness pushing them into the abyss. Fill our warriors with the spirits of our Airborne Rangers In The Sky letting them absorb the goodness and the strength of their love. Place a hand upon their souls to guide them to the light, blinding the enemy. Protect! In Jesus name, Amen. Good night
