Remembering my time in the military & the many sacrifices I made, - TopicsExpress

Remembering my time in the military & the many sacrifices I made, the things that I endured, the strength to keep going against many odds & the courage it took for me to just be. I didnt retire but between my AD & Reserve time, I may as well have stayed in...but JEREMIAH 29:11. People are quick to say what you should do, should have done, shouldnt do in ANY given situation not ever understanding all the variables in place. Not ever knowing, blinded to see that GOD has HIS hand on you; you are on the Potters wheel! Theres molding, shaping, building taking place when you say, I (in my own strength) cant do it anymore...YES LORD! See, when I was in the world, I had NO CLUE as to why I could never fit in (even with my very own family), be like others, conform to world systems (even in my school days; thanks for the reminder La Shun Solovingmylife Combs-Hampton, you dont know the impact of what you spoke to me in the JLQ that day; it resonated in my spirit) etc. Ive alway had to be a free spirit; there was ALWAYS a tune/beat in my spirit/soul that I marched to. Alot of times, it cost me things that people in the world value the most. And although appearing lost, confused even crazy at times...I am incredibly supernaturally FOUND, SOUND & NOT BOUND! Questions, Beloveds...WHAT ARE YOU TRULY WILLING TO SACRIFICE (for JESUS)? WILL YOU CONTINUE TO ENDURE WHEN LIFE BREAKS YOU DOWN OVER & OVER AGAIN? WHEN PEOPLE DISREGARD, DISRESPECT, DESPISE even DISGUST YOU/YOUR HEART/YOUR BELIEF IN GOD? WILL YOU HAVE THE COURAGE AFTER BEING BEAT DOWN TO STAND AGAIN? WILL YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO STILL PRAY & PRAISE IN THE VALLEY? WILL YOU HAVE THE COURAGE TO PRESS ONWARD/INWARD WHEN GOD IS SILENT? WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING ELSE LEFT TO LOSE BUT YOUR LIFE , WILL YOU STILL SAY, YES LORD! The moral of this piece (that the LORD has graciously allowed me to share) is that there is an Army for GOD & not many are WILLING to serve completely. Very few are WILLING to sacrifice, to endure, to be courageous. Many are called but few are chosen! WHO amongst you, Dear Hearts, is WILLING to take up your cross & truly lay down your life for Christ? ***This Memorial Day I give respect & honor to the men & women that served in our Armed Forces losing our most precious commodity...human life. However, I am celebrating & remembering the 1 that died on The Cross so that LaTandrea may gain something that this world could never give her in return for service...ETERNAL LIFE!!! Blessings & much Love:-)
