Reposting for anyone who is only now getting on-line because of the Golden Globes: Standing offer to actors that I know: In 2015 Ill be looking for agent representation. I am a multihyphenate, so it needs to be an agent that can rep Directors at least, but ideally writers and producers as well. My offer to my actor friends is as follows. If you can help me land an agent (based in LA) and I get signed, I will make sure you are working on the very first project that I do afterwards. Also, if I feel that that is not a big enough thank you for your referral, then I will write a part, custom tailored for you, as one of the principle 4 roles in a feature script; which I will then start shopping around. If you dont know if your agent, or their agency, reps directors; please ask. Sometimes companies start out with a limited base, then seek to expand.
