Research Analyst UNC-Chapel Hill - Chapel Hill, NC Based in the UNC Department of OB-GYN at Chapel Hill, the Research Analyst is responsible for planning and performing analyses in collaboration with Division of Global Womens Health (GWH) staff in Zambia and Malawi. The Research Analyst is responsible for managing study data and performing analyses under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Stringer. He she will work closely with GWH staff based in Chapel Hill as well as with those based at our field sites in Zambia and Malawi. Because of the time differences between sites, it is important that the applicant be able to present to work as early as 7:00AM some days. Minimum Qualifications: - Experience with longitudinal datasets - Proficiency in longitudinal analyses, logistic regression, survival analyses -- Experience with hierarchical modeling is a plus - Strong programming skills are required (SAS preferred) - Familiarity with R, MS Access, STATA, visual basic and SQL a plus - The ideal candidate will enjoy working with data and especially visual representations of data sets.Masters degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field.
