Rev. R. Janae Pitts-Murdock has served in the life of the church since childhood, eventually providing leadership in Youth and Music ministries at the age of 15 years. A native of Detroit, MI and reared in Reverend C.L. Franklins congregation, New Bethel Baptist Church, Rev. Janae served as Minister of Children & Youth at Triumph Church in Detroit under the dynamic leadership of Pastor Solomon Kinloch, Jr. She recently served as Lead Pastor at The BLVD (Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church) in Memphis under Pastor Frank A. Thomas, where she directed the pastoral staff and gave leadership to church ministries and major initiatives. With God opening doors for her to preach across the nation, her homiletical gift was prominently featured in the Fall 2007 issue of The African American Pulpit. Rev. Janae serves as Southern Regional Chaplain of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
