Right.... Firstly I, my mum (Ginny) and Trudi would like to say thank you to each and everyone of you that has been involved in the search for layla!! We would not be where we are now and have her home without all your help and support... And to all the people that have liked, shared and postered to help get the word around.... All the amazing team who have done the majority of the searching will know what I mean when saying pretty much everyone in the area was aware either through Facebook, posters and word of mouth. She is such a little monkey but she is happy to be back home here with me and the kids (for now) before she finally will be reunited with her owner as and when she is better... It goes without saying that as and when her owner isnt capable of having Layla in her home she will be coming to live with me, Michael and the children full time... Layla was caught by a elderly couple who had seen the posters up when they were walking their dog. They were parked in the Talbot school carpark that is on the grounds where she had been sighted at slades farm. They said they literally turned round after putting their dog in the car and she was right there. They grabbed her and put her in the car and one of them went back and grabbed a poster to get the numbers and they took her back to her house down the road near winton. From there they called us. I asked them to just leave her in the car as didnt want her escaping which they did. My mum drove me over there and we got her back. She had numerous ticks on her... And has got quite a lot of bumps and scratches.. But nothing to bad or deep. They have all been treated and she has had a bath to de stink.., and is happy as larry again. Once she is settled in and not so jumpy I will let you all know by the page/group about possibly a few of us meeting prehaps at the dog agility park.. (As near to the play park for the kids) so everyone can see her and give her all the cuddles, strokes and hugs that they are well owed!! I now have the vague details of the dog minder as mum wouldnt give me them all as worried there will be a back lash... I will PM all the people whom I have met... Been part of the team and you can then pass on and warn who you need to... My mum made me swear I wouldnt hunt the female dog down and have her guts for garters!! Im so sorry its taken me so long to get this post up... Its been pretty emotional and I just cant help but smother Layla with all my attention!! I will get that info to people later on... AGAIN we cannot thank each and everyone of you enough for all you have done. You have all proven to me that there are decent people still in this world and hopefully we have all made some new friends and connections thanks to my baby... Being LAYLA!!! Words literally can never describe how thankful and overwhelmed we have been by everyones response! You have been and are all literally guardian angels and I will never ever forget what you have done for me and my family...
