Road construction in Nigeria takes longer than expected. The increasing trend brings huge pains to Nigerians without the government doing anything about it. Early on Friday, the rain came and the situation was terrible in Akute-Alagbole road. Going to work became a nightmare, as residents and workers (tax payers) had to go through pains, leaving the area. With the road flooded and blocked with huge construction equipment, residents passed through iron tired together for pillar concretes. Should there not be alternative roads before such roads are blocked? Should Nigerians (tax payers) be made to bear the brunt in this situation? What is your opinion?
