Robert Bob Murri --True Libertarianism is not a functional model of a civil society or economy. There has been no successful civilization that functioned under a Libertarian society. True Libertarianism is another word for Anarchy, see Somalia for an example of this model. The whole concept of individual liberty to be selective in who you conduct business with is not liberty to those who you discriminate against. As Kevin Morgan states, it was near impossible and very dangerous for African-Americans to travel in the south and even in many middle America states. As it was when I was in South Carolina in 1969, there were separate drinking fountains, public bathrooms, eating establishments, a separate section at the movie theater, if allowed in at all. Even trying to take a taxi was impossible, if you were black. This was still happening in 1969, just 5 years after the Civil Rights Act. They were pushing back hard against it. That is what Rand and Ron Paul, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz and other TeaPublicans want America to be like again. But now it would include Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Hispanics, Asians, and First Nation Americans .
