Romans 15:1-9 We then that are strong ( in the WORD OF TRUTH- the Gospel of our salvation, the revelation of the mystery) ought to bear the infirmities of the weak ( those who do not either know the truth of the Gospel- or are babes in CHRIST) and NOT to please ourselves. Let everyone of us please our neighbor ( let us walk in the Spirit as Ambassadors for CHRIST) for his good and edification. For even CHRIST pleased not himself, but as it is written; The reproaches of them that reproached you fell on me ( Psalm 69:9) For whatsoever things were written before time ( in the Old Testament, were written so that we see and understand GODS plan for redemption and how they didnt (JEWS) did not understand how the law, the prophets and all the feasts point to CHRIST- and how they rejected HIM in unbelief ) Now the GOD of patience and consolation grant you ( if you know the truth) to be like minded one toward another according to JESUS CHRIST ( everything about grace is CHRIST- do you understand?) That you may with one mind and one mouth ( as the body of CHRIST in unity in the perfect man proclaiming CHRIST) glorify GOD, even the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST; wherefore receive one another, as CHRIST also received us ( we were quickened together with CHRIST- the moment we believed) to the Glory of GOD ( the triune GOD, FATHER, SON and SPIRIT) Now I say that JESUS CHRIST was ( now this is very important- its overlooked today by MANY in churches who proclaim CHRIST, and yet do NOT understand what CHRIST was doing in his earthly ministry and first coming! And, how we need to get this and understand in order to fully understand why the second coming is so vital- I pray your eyes of understanding be opened and you see this) was a Minister of the circumcision ( the Jews, the nation of Israel, the chosen and elect of GOD, to show HIMSELF to the world) for the truth of GOD, to confirm the promises made to the fathers. ( we who are Gentiles- were alienated from The covenant of promises, without hope and GOD in this world- please understand this) And that the Gentiles might Glorify GOD for HIS mercy; as it is written; For this cause I will confess to you among the Gentiles, and sing your name........................... Why were we shown mercy? ( the Gentiles) because although CHRIST came to HIS own ( the Jews, Israel- the chosen and elect of GOD) they received HIM not. Let the Apostle Peter explain it to you; You men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? ( Peter had just healed the lame man at gate of the temple ) or why do you look so earnestly on us, as though we had made this man walk? The GOD of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the GOD of our fathers has Glorified HIS SON JESUS, whom you delivered up, and denied HIM in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let HIM go. But you denied the HOLY ONE and the JUST, and desired a murderer to be granted to you. And killed the PRINCE OF LIFE, whom GOD has raised from the dead, whereof we are witnesses. And this man through faith in HIS name ( JESUS CHRIST) has made this man strong, whom you see and know, yes the faith which is by HIM has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. And now, brethren, I realize that through ignorance ( they did not understand- how the prophets, the law, the feasts, all that was written was about CHRIST) you did it, as did also your rulers. But those things, which GOD had before had shown by the mouth of all HIS prophets, that CHRIST should suffer, HE has so fulfilled...do you understand? They in ignorance, by not understanding the prophets of GOD, had not received CHRIST as the SON OF GOD and had HIM killed. Not truly understanding at all that by doing so, it was what GOD had planned since the very beginning of creation. Before even the fall of satan and his angels, before the fall of mankind... GOD did not make them kill CHRIST, but GOD in HIS infinite wisdom, knew the heart of us all- that in hatred would kill the LORD OF GLORY- and in doing so would actually be what was needed for our redemption- by the shedding of HIS precious blood as the lamb of GOD... You see, saints, that satan knows that the WORD OF GOD, must ALL come to pass, so he went after Israel as the chosen and elect of GOD, to keep JESUS CHRIST from sitting on HIS throne in Jerusalem- not understanding that GOD had hid in HIMSELF a mystery... That GOD was IN CHRIST reconciling the world to HIMSELF, that by grace the world would be saved- that anyone who believed that JESUS CHRIST had suffered for our sins according to the scriptures and was buried and on the third day was resurrected- is saved.... And it was ALL made possible by their ( Israel) unbelief, for in times past you ( thats us the Gentiles) had not believed GOD, BUT NOW have received mercy through their unbelief...and so because they did not as a nation repent ( turn from not believing that CHRIST is the SON OF GOD) they have been blinded in part until the fullness of Gentiles has come in. That GOD gave the Apostle Paul, the message of grace, the Gospel Of CHRIST and the revelation of mystery, which was kept secret since the world began. And if satan had known about it would NOT of crucified the LORD... Which leads to why CHRIST must come again- its then that HE sets up HIS Kingdom and Israel shall see that the ONE they pierced IS the LORD- and shall be saved... This is NOT about a universal salvation- for one must believe- its about a way of redemption.... And its only by grace through faith IN CHRIST.... Who can know the depth and riches, and wisdom and knowledge of GOD? Great is HIS mercy... GOD did send CHRIST to make this life in the here and now better.... But for an eternal purpose- a deeper purpose- when HE returns CHRIST will make everything new, until then we have hope and walk by faith- not in what we see but in the unseen- unless we believed in vain...
