Running sensation from Nauru, Lovelite Detenamo will be looking to stay for a medal over the 100 metres in Rarotonga after her bronze in Wallis and Futuna at the Pacific Mini Games. Lovelite Detenamo 100 metres / 200 metres Federation: Nauru Age: 21 Personal Best: 100m: 12.22 200m: 25.50 Season Best: 100m 12.56 Lovelite has already established a handy resume on the World stage beginning with the World youth Championships in Bressanone, Italy. She was a dual World Junior representative for Nauru at the 2010 event in Moncton, Canada and the 2012 event in Barcelona, Spain. Her senior career began at the 2011 World Championships in Daegue, South Korea and again in 2013 in Moscow. She was unlucky to miss selection for the 2012 London Olympics. Lovelite currently attends the IAAF High Performance Training centre on the Gold Coast where she is a scholarship holder. Lovelite is the current Nauru 100 metre and 200 metre record holder. Lovelite, sometimes known as Chrissa, is preparing for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and then the Rio Olympics in 2016. Lovelite is an enthusiastic singer and dancer so after the Championships look for her on the dance floor in Rarotonga.
