SCOUTING SUCSESS - Wild Ginseng - You got to read this and see this Patch. Hey Guys me and my oldest son L.Bill got to get out awhile this evening and we ran onto one of the nicest patches that I have ever seen in my entire life. The seng is in the sun to much and some of it was already yellow and dying. A lot lot of the pods where blood red like they would be in September and the ones that where not full red pods where very near it. You could see where deer had eaten many of the tops and a lot of berries had been plucked by turkeys or something. We went ahead and took care of the berries because they needed to be planted. We may never see any thing like this again. It was awesome. There is over 80 diggers and you all know what digger size is to me !! so yea :) and a total of near 150 plants. This spot has most likely never been dug because the seng would be completely dead by the end of September because of sun exposure ( sort of like a clear cut area of logging that never grew back right ). This may very well be why the patch is their. !!!WOOT WOOT!!! BaRhRhRhRh !!!!! LeT mE HeAr yOu hOw`LLLLLL !!!!! Come on September 1st I got a feeling it is going to be a great year :) Billy & L.
