SEEK DAILY, Monday, October 13 Job 14:7-13 SET A TIME TO REMEMBER ME There is hope for a tree that has been cut down; it can come back to life and sprout…. Job 14:7, GNB Job was forced to pour out his heart in anguish. In spite of his assertion that man is born into troubles and that his age is numbered, he went on to raise the issue of hope that a troubled man has. He compares man to a tree, which has been cut down. This is because the trees receive hope of life when its roots tap nutrients once again from the soil. Joseph also had a similar experience after interpreting the dream of the cupbearer. The cupbearer did not remember him until two years after (Genesis 40–41:1, 9) when he had a strange dream. Friend, the Word of God for you is that He has not forgotten you. He is right there to help you if only you can tap into His Word just as the root of a tree would and you will bounce back (Psalm 1:1-3). The Word will give moisture that you need to live again. Read His Word always. Bear this in mind always: If a mere tree that has been cut down has hope, how much more you who bear the image of God? You will come alive again. • Birthday Blessing: “And the sons of strangers shall build up thy wall, and their kings shall minister unto thee…in my favour have I mercy on thee-” Isaiah 60:10 Read Bible Through Passage: Jeremiah 6-7; 1 Thessalonians 2 Woe is not only meant for idol worshippers, it is also for those who give their utmost priority to other things except Christ in their daily activities. - Anonymous *************************** Meditations for the Day 13Oct2014 BIBLE VERSE FOR THE DAY “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:1-2 NIV). ******************* QUOTE FOR THE DAY God’s power can be more easily seen and experienced in our lives when we get rid of sin’s build-up every day. - Cindy Hess Kasper
