SHORT-TERM POSITION OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Medical Assistance Program (MAP) International Liberia is seeking to award a three month contract to a qualified Liberian who can serve a short-term position of Finance and Administrative Assistant at its Liberia Office. The contract runs from June 1, 2014 to August 31, 2014. Summary of Responsibilities: Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable functions. Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and payables function including wire transfers, deposits, and bank reconciliations, as well as overall administrative support. Summary of Qualifications, Skills and Abilities: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience particularly in Accounts Payable in an NGO environment Experience with Quick Books or equivalent accounting system Proven knowledge of donor and general financial accounting procedures Clear understanding of Government of Liberia accounting requirements This Position is opened to situable qualified LIBERIANS ONLY.
