SMALL BEGINNING, GREAT ENDING Isn’t it interesting that we all began our lives here on earth as babes? We started as infants, completely dependent on our parents. Then we begin to sit. crawl, stand, walk and eventually run. That’s how God made us . Our beginning was small. But thank God our life did not end in infancy. We grew and increased. Do not be afraid of small beginnings. One step after another, then the longest journey is ended. “Victory is won not in miles but in inches,” says a writer. He says further that you “win a little now, hold your ground, and later win a lot more.” Prudence demands that you be at your best each moment you take steps, even small ones. Courage to attempt greater tasks is received each time you tackle small ones successfully. You must have noticed that the rungs of a ladder, however tall, graduate from the lowest to the highest. You can only climb to its maximum height from the bottom, stepping on the rungs in turns. Don’t try to jump the steps. Small steps can be great secrets to success. Get excited as you make progress (however small) on your way and move forward with enthusiasm. Small tasks handled are far better than great ones untried. It is better to do something, no matter how small, than to do nothing on great ideas. Get started to take steps towards excellence. Standing still will take you nowhere.Remember! “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” Job 8:7
