SO WHAT DO YOU EAT? This question is driving many a vegan up the wall. Last night, waiting for sleep to come, I had this sudden insight.... I am going to make a darn little brag book to carry in my bag.... just like grandparents do with grandchildrens photos. In it I will have photos of the most gorgeous pancakes, hamburgers with home made bean patties and oozing sauce over tomato, pine apple and lettuce with onion rings and of a Sunday vegan roast with veggies. There will be moothies in tall glasses, chocolate layer cake, cheese cake, vegan ice cream, butternut soup with veggie cream, home made bread and jam, meringues with strawberries and whipped coconut cream, bobotie, melted cheese and tomato on ciabata, cocktail sausage rolls and the huge samoesas that I buy at Checkers... And if anyone ask me that darn question again, I am going to flip this little file open and push it under their noses, ask them for their email address and offer to send them the recipes. Or you could do the same on your cell phone picture store.
