[SOCIAL EXPERIMENT 6] Hey peeps, so me and my friends had a 2 - TopicsExpress

[SOCIAL EXPERIMENT 6] Hey peeps, so me and my friends had a 2 hour break between classes. With nothing to do, we decided to conduct another social experiment. We decided this time to try something new, in fact this idea was proposed to us by someone in the comments section in our previous experiment (you know who you are, and thank you). So basically what the experiment delves around is a wallet. Simply, I drop the wallet near people and see their reactions. We loaded a wallet (used in previous experiments) with 1x $100 note, 2x $20 note & 3x $10 note with a total of: $170. We made sure the money was sticking out, so that people could see the green & red notes. We decided to conduct this experiment on the walkway next to the Parramatta river, behind Subway. It was a busy morning, there were plenty of people walking about there. It was about 11am when we started. There was only 3 of us, so we had to be extra careful because we honestly didnt want to loose our money (the 100 was mine lol). So anyways, the first 5 times we dropped the bait in front of people (3 girls & 2 boys) they ran unto me, tapped me on the shoulder and gave my wallet back. We praised each and every one of them. We gave them all a free Hoyts Cinema ticket as a reward for their honesty. On the 6th try, we witnessed something different. So I dropped the wallet, in a rush right next to the subject and took off and ran up the hill around to the other side. My mates told me, he picked up the wallet. Had a look inside, took out the money and tossed the wallet in the parramatta river (RIP Wallet). He took the money, walked right up the hill to Subway. We followed him right in there, he ordered a footlong with meatballs with thousand island sauce and no pickles. As the cashier asked for the money, we intercepted him. We asked him if we could talk with him. He denied everything, and said that his Grandma gave him this money (lol hahahah) and that he also got paid for this money from work. He knew he was caught red handed, so he didnt make a scene out of it. He kept quiet and said sorry. He gave the money back to us. I told him that his actions were disgraceful, throwing the wallet in the river was even more disgraceful (luckily it was a cheap wallet with used gift cards in it hahah). Nonetheless it was not his wallet, or his money. He offered us money, but we refused. I asked for one thing in return which was honesty. He promised me to be an honest person and to never steal again. Moral of this experiment, fellow UWS Students. Please dont steal what is not yours. Whatever it may be, it could have a big impact on a person if you take their property. Until next time fellow comrades, stay safe and be on the look out because the UWS Spy is everywhere! ;)
