SPIKE WAS THIS CLOSE TO BEING ADOPTED BUT IT DIDNT WORK OUT....DONT LET HIM PERISH TOMORROW... :( And now his life is in jeopardy again! Spike needs an experienced owner...and the special person that understands Spike needs gentle guidance to find his new place in a family. Please help make this happen for this deserving man....he only has until 12 noon! A volunteer writes: Spike seems to be a lover of all dogs. Big dog? lets play! A Chihuahua? sure no problem! He play bows to all, wanting to make friends and have a play date. He was so quiet in his kennel, I kept promising him I would come back for him, taking out the more vocal dogs first. He took care of business as soon as we were out the door so is likely housetrained as he held it for a long time. Good boy Spike! Although he could stand to gain a couple of pounds, Spike is so handsome in his cocoa color coat and white socks, his tail wagging as we walk. He pulls hard on the leash and could use some leash training and as he loves treats hell be motivated to respond to some positive training. He takes treats gently, tail wagging easily. Off leash in the back yard he enjoyed chasing a tennis ball, can catch on the fly, and then comes over to me for some petting. Spike is looking for an active family as hell love long walks and easy companionship. Reserve him on the ACC website or click on his picture & ask for help. Hurry, dont let tonight be his last night alive.... https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=768632866482928&set=a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553&type=1&theater
