SPOOKED: Carriage horse runs on an NYC street (video is from Sunday, October 19, 2014, at approximately 8:30 a.m.) -- NYClass shared this video, which shows NYPD vehicles--with lights flashing--closing in on a horse who has spooked and run through the streets of NYC. No doubt the horse had been frightened by noise, traffic, or even something mundane (a car door slamming, a plastic bag)--even on a relatively quiet Sunday morning, there are plenty of things to spook a horse. Well share more details when they become available. TOMORROW (Oct. 21) IS TELEPHONE TUESDAY--PLEASE MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD IN SUPPORT OF AN UNCONDITIONAL BAN. It is inherently DANGEROUS and INHUMANE to have horse-drawn carriages in the middle of New York City in 2014.
