STALYBRIDGE TOGETHER LAUNCH MEETING, 13th JANUARY 2015 As people are becoming aware, a community group called Stalybridge Together have launched a three year plan to install a new Stalybridge Town Council. It is the intention of Stalybridge Together to conduct a transparent campaign with no hidden agenda. On this note we would like to publish for your viewing the complete and unedited video coverage from the meeting, co hosted with the Cheshire Association of Local Councils, where the three year plan was presented to councillors and representatives from other local bodies and organisations. We would have liked this meeting to have been open to public attendance, however, due to limited space and the projected high interest in the scheme we could not safely control numbers and seating was already full. We would therefore like to offer you the opportunity of viewing the meeting for yourselves. The agenda for the meeting can be viewed at You will see, however, that the agenda was fluid throughout the meeting and was not fully applied. This was down to the late arrival of one of the CHALC representatives due to navigation issues. Another member of CHALC was absent due to illness. Main issues were covered and the question and answer session to close was lively and spirited. Should any questions arise a campaign office is being set up at Music Corner, Melbourne Street, Stalybridge. You will see the mission statement, border maps and key points covered on the display in the window. Please feel free to call in. Remember you will find all the information you need including the full three year plan and details of how to get involved with the campaign at We look forward to serving you. Stalybridge Together.
