SURO: Meet the Board Erin Cochrane-Ivie: Member at Large Erin Cochrane-Ivie was born and raised in the Eagle Valley and has been a active member in the community since graduating from Colorado State University in 2006. Erin currently works for the Office of the District Attorney in Eagle County as a legal assistant, but her passion lies with event planning, fundraising and giving back to the community. After losing her best friend to suicide in 2007 and multiple other acquaintences over the years, Erin chose to dedicate her spare time to reducing suicide rates in Eagle County. In 2012, Erin chaired the Eagle Valley Out of the Darkness Community Walk and helped raise over $20,000 for suicide prevention. Erin enjoys playing in the outdoors from snowmobiling to running and boating. She lives with her husband, Nate, and two dogs in Eagle, CO.
