SURRENDERED AND TRANSFORMED Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God. Rom 12:1 Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. Thats the most sensible way to serve God. Rom 12:2 Dont be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him. {CEV} Here Paul is giving us all the invitation to have a change of mindset. Why is this because we have negative thinking { stinking thinking} our thoughts are not His thoughts. It’s not till we we have submitted are whole life over to God. We are all trying to find the perfect will of God, there is no formula or program we can do it, the one and only way is through a surrendered life and spending time in the word of God. We need to be surrendered life daily and yielded to the work of the Holy Spirit, we need to have the attitude that Jesus had not my will but your will be done. We need a new CPU in the area of our thinking, and get get rid of or stinking thinking. Church we need a check from the neck up. Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, declares the LORD 1Co 2:16 The Scriptures ask, Has anyone ever known the thoughts of the Lord or given him advice? But we understand what Christ is thinking.
