Sable and Sweatheart need help with boarding cost, if you are able to help, please. Sable was pulled right out of the room where she was about to be euthanized yesterday. A phone call went to Shirley in Iowa from that euth room who accepted her into their rescue but the transport does not leave for another few weeks. She was adopted a few months ago from MDAS but returned. She will not be coming back again. Sweetheart was surrendered by her owner, had no interest and was to die as well. She was on the list with no time when we placed out hold. The photo of her owner pulling her least taut around her neck was enough to save her life. He just wanted to get rid of her and it was obvious that he did not care what happened to her...but WE DID!!! We even changed her name from the ridiculous SMOKE BALL to SWEETHEART because that is what she is and now, she will live and be adopted by someone who appreciates her!...
