Sadie has proven to be a very sweet puppy. She was shy at first but warmed up nicely to her environment. Sadies roommate, Leo - the cat, makes a nice companion for her. They share the same yard and the same house at night. Sadie plays with Leo and at times drags him all over the yard; seemingly Leo doesnt mind the rough housing, but he is quick to let Sadie know when he has had enough. Sadie is very protective of Leo and they make quite an odd couple. Sadie enjoys country living at Whynot, Mississippi. She is constantly barking at squirrels, opossums, rabbits and deer. Unfortunately these animals dont pay much attention to Sadie anymore and, because of this, my plums, pears, apples and peaches disappear in a hurry. In the afternoon, I allow Sadie to go for a run. She is typically gone for 15-20 minutes and will then appear at my door on the front porch waiting to come into the house. Her last run cost her the opportunity to come inside as she was covered in mud from her belly down to her toes. Many times I allow her to sleep inside; she enjoys a few treats while watching TV until it is her bedtime. On her last vet visit, Sadie weighed 43 pounds. I love Sadie and Sadie loves me! Shirley
