Salam to All Fellow Uetians !!!! As you all Know We are Studying in a Prestigious Institution Recognized Nationally as Well as Internationally and We Got Selected Here on Merit Basis. All of You Went Through a lot and Worked Hard to Get Here and Now it’s the Responsibility of Administration here to Provide us with Facilities Which are for Us. It’s Our Right to Get What is ours! This is Our University, We Should have Access to all the Facilities but the Students Here Get third Class Treatment. Go through the Following Points and You will be the Judge, of What is Right and What Wrong??: 1. In Private Universities Result is Out in a Week OR 2 but Here We Have to Wait for Almost one and a Half Semester to Get the Result. Result of First semester is Declared in Third, of Third in Fifth, of Fifth in Seventh and of Seventh and Eight Semester Months after we get Free from University. Especially the students of Last Year Suffer the Most, Without Result they can’t Apply for MS and Jobs. Juniors Should know that After 2 or 3 years this is Going to Happen to Them too so wake up! 2. There is a Shortage of Books in Library, If Someone is Late Even a Day He won’t be able to Get the Course Book Because They are Already Taken. There Should be Enough Books so that Each Student Should be able to Get One 3. Convocations are Held Late, Usually after a Year or 2. Convocations Should be Held Immediately after the Graduation 4. Most of the Lab Equipment is Almost out of Order, and Many of the Equipment is Completely Absent. 5. Students are not Given Proper Facilities and Whenever they Go to office for Complaints or for any Administrative work , No One is There to Listen to them. 6. There are no Sports Facilities and no Grounds for UET Students and They are not Allowed to Enter Peshawar University Grounds 7. No trips are Arranged for Students. Students are charged for trips but they Don’t Get any. Trips should be arranged in every semester 8. There are no funds for societies and most of the societies are not even allowed to work properly Here (For Extra Curricular Activities ). 9. There is No Auditorium in University, Which is Humiliating Because Each and Every Event is Held in Chemical and Electrical Hall Which don’t Have Enough Capacity and we Can’t Even Invite other Universities to Come and Take Part in Our Event. 10. We Need Cleanliness of Our Hostels , we Need Study Rooms in Hostels, we need Furnished Mosque in Our Hostels . . These all Above Mentioned Points are Our Right so Wake Up Guys, Probably This is the Time for Change, Speak for Yourselves, No One is Gonna Spoon Feed you. Students are the most Powerful Community and for Your Rights You Should Use That Power. Hope Your Soul Is Not Dead and You Gonna Speak For Yourselves and For Others for Sure. Inshallah After Mid We will talk to Administration and Then a Strike if administration Does not show Interest
