Sandra and Crowborough Tackle are on the move again!! The shop - TopicsExpress

Sandra and Crowborough Tackle are on the move again!! The shop currently located on The Broadway, Crowborough will close at the end of March and relocate to Frant Lakes. I do believe that the future for small independent tackle shops may not be on the high street, but on the fisheries themselves. This opens up other opportunities to expand the business in many other ways. At Frant Lakes, I will be keeping the same name, the same accounts and stock levels, and the same PRICES that you would pay on the high street. I will also be running the café, so BAIT AND BREAKFAST are on the menu. Breakfast will cost you £5, and we will also be serving lunches, snacks, and afternoon teas. There will be an opportunity to eat outside as well as inside under a covered area on the patio. I have lots of plans and ideas for this exiting new venture, but the immediate benefits will be – plenty of FREE PARKING outside the door, tackle shop open from 7am – 7pm, 7 days a week (April to September). Winter hours will be slightly shorter and will be announced nearer the time. Café opening hours are 8am – 4pm weekdays and 7am – 4pm weekends, 6 days a week, closed Mondays. There will be cold food available on a Monday. We will deliver to your swim, but only if you are fishing at Frant Lakes!! Don’t forget, you don’t have to be fishing here to use the tackle shop and café. Free wi-fi available for your use also. There will be a hire system running at the new premises, so if you have forgotten an essential item, you may be able to hire it from us, instead of having to go home for it or miss out on fishing that day. ‘Try before you Buy’ scheme will also be in operation. If there is a product you are considering as a purchase, but would like to fish with it before committing to buying it, give me a ring or call in. I can arrange for our local rep to meet you at Frant and you can use the product on the bank. I know it’s difficult to buy a product such as a pole, without trying it first. Normally we find someone who has one and go on their recommendations, Here’s a chance to try out a range of products without any pressure. I am really looking forward to relocating the business and working alongside Frant Lakes. As a lot of you know, I have been trading for around 9 years now. I have met some wonderful people through those years and most of them, I now regard as my friends. There is such a community spirit in a Tackle Shop and I hope that will grow across these next years. Thank you for all your past support and hope to see you at Frant. If nothing else, you may have a laugh at me in an apron and a silly hat!! Tight Lines from Sandra
