Sanitation Supervisor Location – Rancho Cucamonga Immediate Opening – Pay 18.00 to 20.00 Hourly Nightshift/3rd Shift Position SUMMARY: The Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible to supervise daily operations of the sanitation department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: o Day-to-day sanitation of equipment and facility o Training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems o Develops and documents cleaning procedures, i.e. SSOP’s, cleaning logs etc. o Train and document all sanitation workers for the safe operation and disassembly of equipment o Ensure compliance with all safety rules and standards including the proper use of personal protective equipment. o Ensure food safety and quality control specifications are met o Ensure compliance with all company GMPs o Develop, maintain and comply with Master Sanitation Schedule o Systematically develop clear and well defined cleaning procedures for all equipment and facility areas o Work closely with management and chemical suppliers on chemical and process changes to improve sanitation results and reduce costs o Protect product during sanitation o Supervise, motivate and train sanitation/production workers o Coordinate all sanitation and some production items for the plant o Coordinate with R&D and Quality Assurance on all sanitation issues concerning production (new products, special runs, etc.) o Coordinate with Maintenance on any set-up, machinery, pump/mill problems are addressed (Packaging/Processing equipment) To ensure that quality, productivity and Food Safety issues are met Nohel Vizcarra Recruiter 12016 Telegraph Rd.
