Sanjiv Chaturvedi, CVO of AIIMS, a well known honest officer who exposed corruption in AIIMS, has been suspended by Dr Hashvardhan. One credential that goes to his credit is that he was transferred 12 times in the last 5 Years by Congress Govt of Haryana. It is very unfortunate. It shall convey a message that there is no difference between Congress and BJP so far the corruption and the business mafia is concerned. Such actions are maligning the image of NM as a crusader against corruption. NM must be harsh on all such pro-corruption activities irrespective of the fact of whosoever has committed it - Dr Harshvardhan or any body else. Going deep in detail, if the facts are found to be true, NM must re-instate the CVO with full respect and cause an enquiry fixing responsibility for such suspension. He must do it without making it a prestige issue that AAP or Congress or anybody else had raised the issue first. Rather he must appreciate that they have discharged their responsibility as constructive and ideal opposition and must thank them for bringing the facts to the knowledge of media/PMO. After all, PMO can not be omnipresent. What is being said should be more important than who is saying it. We, the people of India, expect NM - who is the PM of India and not the PM of BJP - to set new standards of high morals in the interests of the nation. Such an action shall send a strong signal to all even within the BJP party that that none can do any wrong and shall benefit the country as a whole. Respect, sympathy, love, support and popularity for NM Govt shall also increase manifold thereby if such positive steps are taken by NM.
