Saw this wonderful film last night and highly recommend it. A thinking and feeling persons war movie. Perhaps a little sentimental for the taste of many, but a nice, old-fashioned war film, in the flavor of a film like The Dirty Dozen or even Three Kings, another Clooney film... Great performances! Stand outs are Bob Balaban and Bill Murray as a team and John Goodman again reminds me not to be surprised when he is one day nominated for an Oscar. Downton Abbey fans will enjoy a wonderfully heroic turn by Hugh Bonneville as a disgraced socialite who... well, see the movie, friends! :D This film is a rousing reminder of 60s movie making, with a great score and theme too! imdb/title/tt2177771/
