Schweitzer Environmental Center Friday night at the movies: Hi Schweitzer Friends, Join us as we host a series of documentary films beginning this Friday, January 30, and continuing the series with new movies on February 27th and March 27th. Our first movie is Cowspiracy, the journey of a young filmmaker whose funds were cut off when he uncovered some surprising facts about how animal agriculture is contributing to climate change (top environmental organizations wont even acknowledge this). This movie is for a mature audience, due to the seriousness of the subject matter and some graphic content, which might not be suitable for children or more sensitive viewers. Were making popcorn and beverages will be available - all for only a $2 donation. Please arrive around 6:45 so we can start on time. Run time 1 hour 25 minutes. SAVE THE DATE: The next Schweitzer Second Sunday is February 8th. Warm up with a presentation on preserving U.S. canyon lands and other wilderness areas by Clayton Daughenbaugh, of the Sierra Club and Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance.
