Scorose HC for Iyal: My dilemma haunted my mind. It was trying to penetrate my soul, trying to force me to be scared, or, at least, come to terms with it. Both the former and the latter were not concepts I was very happy with. Rose, are you ok? You look like youve seen a ghost, my brother, Hugo said, attempting not to laugh at his own joke; Nearly Headless had floated right through me not minutes ago. Har-Har, I said, without the usual sarcasm that seeped through my voice. No, seriously, he said, the concern obvious in the wrinkles behind his eyes. Are you ok? I nodded, staring at the ground. He hmm-ed. My mind wandered back to my dilemma. And then my dilemma walked right into me. Watch it, Hugo hissed to the boy. Not just any boy, though. Scorpius Malfoy. Scorpius didnt reply to my brothers snarky comment. Instead, he stared into my eyes, completely oblivious to anything else. Well, the same could have been said for me too. Hi, I said after a long moment. I noticed how his blonde hair shimmered in the dull sunlight, and was captivated by the dance-like movements. I started to think I sounded creepy. He didnt say anything, but I felt a piece of crumpled parchment being shoved into my hand. I noticed the subtle jostles of Scorpius shoulder, and realised it was his hand in mine, which made me nervous. He walked away without a word, an almost unnoticed smile spread across the edges of his lips. Hugo, I have to go, I said, turning to my brother. I was anxious about reading the note; I wanted to know what it said. I strolled away, and found a silent crevice that was my secret. I uncrumpled the parchment, the two words making me one of the happiest people alive: Hi Beautiful. ~Athenas Badger, Queen of Mending Feels
