Scott, is home with Sam. I picked them up from the hospital - TopicsExpress

Scott, is home with Sam. I picked them up from the hospital yesterday, all of them home (My sister, Samantha, and Scott). Originally, the plan was to get my sister away from the hospital for a little bit, while Samantha spent time with Scott. I knew my sister was probably in need of a good cup of coffee, and I planned to take her away to get a “good cup of coffee!” I left the house in the morning to go to the hospital, but change of plan, because a dump truck laid its self over on its side causing the one road I travel to close for a while. So I turned around to come back home until it was cleaned up. I was not going to sit there waiting for them to clean it up, not when I was a hop, skip and jump away from the house. Returned to the house, and as luck would have it, my niece, Samantha called saying Scott had the okay to go home. Yup, released from hospital. Drove to hospital, loaded my truck with their belongings, and off we went … “Homeward Bound!” After 9 days at the hospital, there was no doubt something good to eat was in order, plus I still wanted to get my sister that cup of coffee, I knew she would appreciate it, and desperately needed one. We stopped at Perkins, ate a good meal then headed home. Again, Scott looked surprisingly good considering all that he has gone through for the past 9 days. He is sore, and tired, but that is expected. It is normal to be tired when returning home from the hospital. I know hospital stays always wiped me out. Because they never actually let you sleep when you are in the hospital. Scott does have some restrictions. Just needs to take baby steps, one day at a time, and he will be fine. I am sure in a few days, he will be feeling much better. Just needs to rest. He still has a ways to go, but he will be back to his old self in no time. Thank you so much for your love, and prayers. Love and Hugs to all …
