Season came and season went, and locust came to Umoufia, wrote Cheuna Achebe in his famous fiction called Things Fall Apart. It has been great year with so many ups and down. It has been great year, but still we are living with human locust who grab our farmers land making most of the destitute and hopeless. Let this new year proves the departure of those locusts and let us all see our beautiful free land. Our promised land where locusts no longer collects our harvest.
