*********** Second School in Denton (SSiD) The Board of Directors of SSI will open the Denton Chapter of SSI, in 3 to 7 days - in time to help kids enrolled at UNT - this semester (during the remaining time this academic semester). The SSiD will have the first workshop free, starting this Wednesday or Thursday. (By Thursday March 27th). All brochures and contact instruments are in place and ready to be funded. The full membership of the NTU mathematic department is in charge of over 4200 individuals enrolled in a liberal arts freshman mathematics class. The expected failure rate is something between 80% and 25%, as a distribution of assessments over all American Colleges and Universities. What is it at UT Austin? What is it at UNT? At TSU, the premiere HBCU in Texas, the failure rate that first semester is between 60 and 93%, when failure rates at HBCUs in America are reasonably between 40% and 90%. Let us suppose that three weeks before the end of the semester, a well financed SSI implementation plan was put into place? The purpose of the two weeks of workshops is to gain national attention about OSTP Proposals on a Fifty-state American Education Bridge, as proposed by SSI. Start up income and first set of formal evidence that the SSI Workshops are 80% successful in re-opening interest in higher mathematics. Enrollment goal is 140, workshops. April 3rd through to May 10th (six weeks) Summer program will have a registration goal of 200. Expected Second School in Denton income through the summer is 34,000 dollars plus registration fees.
