Seeing Glory Changes Us So Those who know Christ as Savior have been changed by seeing the glory of God. Jesus lived on earth among us and showed the glory of God to us through His birth, through His life, through His resurrection, through His living in us and by His promise to come take us to be with Him forever. As the Bible says, “The Word (or Voice,Jesus Christ) was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory full of grace and truth.”John 1;14 “God, unseen until now, is revealed in the Voice, God’s only Son, straight from the Father’s heart.” John 1:18 So if we accept what God has said and done for us we find God’s glory of forgiveness and a changed life. If any person be in Christ and Christ in him or her, old things have passed away and all things become new. We look at life from the splendor of glory heard in the voice of Jesus and seen in his actions. “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2Cor. 3:18 So today will you with me take a fresh look at him and be changed to be like Him? No one can truly see Jesus and remain the same. Our first real look at Him as our Savior brings us forgiveness, eternal life, joy, and peace. But our look at Him now is only partial. We see Him reflected as in a mirror. As we go through life continuing to look at Him freshly each day, we see Him more fully and experience deeper change. Our final and total change will only come when we see Him totally face to face. In the Bible John sums it up like this, “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” Today I was a little down until I took a fresh look at Jesus and now I am up. The best way to be up is to look up to Jesus through His word and on His throne of mercy and grace. Lord show us your glory. Enable us to love like you love. Enable us to live as you lived, purely and honorably. Enable us to give as you give without reservation. Enable someone who reads this to seek you, and to hear and see you today and share below what they find with You and others. In Jesus name, Amen!
