Seeking an Electrical Controls Programmer - GFECP Our Client Company is a leading manufacturer of paint finishing systems. They are currently seeking an Electrical Controls Programmer in Osseo, WI. The salary is 50-80k. Relocation is available. The Electrical Controls Programmer is an integral member of the team designing and building custom equipment and automation finishing system applications by creating accurate control ladder diagrams, PLC and PC based control schemes, establishing efficient power, wiring, and control standards in a short timeline, clearly presenting all data analysis and recommendations, monitoring controls and equipment via remote connection and completing the design of complex systems that integrate hardware and software including HMIs and touchscreens. Requirements: • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in electrical controls and three to five years’ experience in the field; or equivalent combination of schooling and experience. • An understanding of operational processes, electrical power, electrical controls and pneumatics. • The position also requires working with multiple disciplines including electrical and mechanical engineering. Previous experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and operator interface controllers such as HMI’s or touch-screens is required; this includes at a minimum Allen Bradley and/ or Siemens Automation. • Strong background in HVAC industrial controls; this includes air make up units, both direct fired, and indirect fired, Air conditioning systems, including DX systems, chillers, and evaporative will receive preference. Boiler systems used for hot water systems and humidification systems. • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
